10MW Containerized Matrix HFO Power Plant Solution
To address the centralized power supply needs of large industrial and mining enterprises, remote mining areas, and off-grid islands, Qinhuangdao Northern Shipbuilding Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. has launched a 10MW containerized matrix heavy oil power plant solution. This solution uses standardized 2MW containerized heavy oil generator sets as the basic unit, integrating five units in a matrix parallel configuration to construct a medium-sized heavy oil power plant, providing users with economical, stable, and rapidly deployable independent power supply.

2MW Containerized HFO Generator Set
Each generator set integrates a high-power, medium-speed HFO engine, generator, cooling system, electrical control cabinet, and auxiliary equipment within a standard container frame. The heavy oil fuel system is connected and tested before leaving the factory; on-site operation only requires connection to the fuel supply pipeline and power output for grid connection.

5×2MW Parallel Architecture
Power Configuration:
Five 2MW containerized HFO generator sets are connected in parallel to form a 10MW matrix power station, equipped with a centralized monitoring and parallel management system to achieve coordinated operation of multiple units. The matrix architecture supports optimization of unit start-up and shutdown strategies based on load fluctuations, ensuring that the system always operates within the economic load range.

Fuel Economy and Supply Security
Employing a medium-speed engine technology adapted to heavy oil fuel, it offers a significant fuel cost advantage compared to diesel power generation. The genset is well-adapted to the quality of heavy oil fuel and can utilize readily available heavy oil resources near industrial and mining enterprises or low-cost fuel oil (such as RMG380), thereby greatly reducing the cost per kilowatt-hour.

Modular Rapid Deployment
Based on the standardized dimensions of containers, a single generator set can be transported to the site via conventional road transport, significantly reducing the amount of basic civil engineering work compared to traditional civil engineering power plants. The time from equipment arrival to grid connection is short, making it particularly suitable for projects with urgent power demand or temporary power supply guarantees.

Smart Matrix Control System
The system can flexibly start and stop some gensets according to load demand to achieve economical operation; when a single genset is under maintenance, the remaining gensets continue to operate, providing "N+1" redundancy capability.

Environmental Adaptability and Reliability
The genset enclosure structure features windproof, sandproof, and corrosion-resistant designs. The cooling system and air intake/exhaust system can be adapted and adjusted according to the ambient temperature, humidity, and altitude to ensure long-term stable operation in harsh industrial environments with high dust, high humidity, and wide temperature variations.
